The Laker Dance Team is one of the most spirited and involved organizations on campus as proved by the Art Hills Spirit Award we received from Student Life this past year! Consisting of 14 talented women, the LDT is an integral part of Laker school spirit and support for Grand Valley Athletics while taking pride in performing at all home football and men’s basketball games in addition to other campus appearances and competing on a national level. The Laker Dance Team is a positive role model for women in sports on campus, in the community, and nationally. It is our duty to positively represent GVSU and promote its excellence on a daily basis. We are a completely student run organization, operating without a coach or choreographer …almost unheard of for a successful competitive team!

Commendable Accomplishments (since 2004):
NDA College Nationals 2004 – 4 th out of 18 teams
NDA College Nationals 2005 – 6 th out of 24 teams
