We would like to thank everyone for attending the 2008-2009 Laker Dance Team tryouts! There was a lot of talent this year and everyone did wonderful! The selection process was difficult with very close scoring, so if you were not selected this year we encourage you to come out next year and tryout again. We have decided to select 16 girls for the performance team for experience purposes, but we will only be buying 14 tickets to the National Dance Alliance Competition in April, so everyone work hard this season!

COME JOIN US!!!

Tryouts for the 2008-2009 Laker Dance Team are apon us. Being a Dance Team member is very rewarding. You not only gain close friends on the team, but you become a part of the GVSU Laker spirit that drives the teams and fans. ( oh ya, we go to Florida for Nationals too ).

Sounds exciting? Here’s some information you will need to know to join us.

WHEN?

• April 19th 9:30am – 5pm
• April 20th 12pm – 5 pm

THINGS TO BRING ALONG FOR TRYOUTS?

• $25 tryout fee
• tryout waiver
• signed tryout packet
• proof of current gpa 2.0 or higher
• 2009 GVSU schedule

A?A Girls will need to sign up for 15 minture time blocks and have an individual tryout on Sunday
